hehe, honestly it's not much to look at right now, half of the cast isn't even penciled in, and I still have a lot of fiddling to do with composition. It was just an update for the commissioner :P

Hey Blue you should have people with blond hair powering up with levitating rocks included.
Sound good?
edit: the levitating rocks would be because of their awesome power leaking out into the environment. Man I'm good with original ideas .

SECOND PAGE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
So yeah, had a midterm, then was too busy trolling YSJ. Here's an update on [yumy]. Hope it looks better.
The two Monks and the Rit are still kinda shafted tho. I'll get them in... eventually!

Okay, after spending quite a while moseying around, I have finally finished [yumy] B/W sketch. Had to be rather creative with where to fit the last three members. Sorry squeav, you are gonna be riding on noodle :P
Will get to coloring it soon.
==================================================
Anyhow, the Nolani upheaval that has happened recently has made me question the way I do things in my commissions. I realized that no matter how I do things, some is going to Q_Q about either price, or how they are willing to pay but wont have any commissions done. And honestly, I don't especially like doing things for either a. no compensation and a mediocre picture, or b. with massive compensation, but with a boring picture. And even when doing stuff I like, I get some people grumbling about favoritism.
Since I really don't need much more money in GW anyways, I am going to offer the simplest solution. I am closing down my commission thread.
I believe this will help remedy two problems that a wide range of people have identified in this subform: overpayment and a new generation of artists being too intimidated to start their own threads.
I am sorry to those who are close in line, but public opinion seems to indicates that the older generation should step down. Apparently, we have been unknowingly driving the price too high, and created an uninhabitable stratified environment for newbies with our egos.
Here's to the future; hopefully like flowers after a storm, new artists will take root and blossom in this subform.
PS. [yumy], don't worry, still working on this one.

Yeah, I didn't find your prices to be outrageous. To be honest, the rise in popularity of this subforum peaked at when? During the summer. I know I'm not getting the pm's you guys apparently are, but once the summer was over, this forum has kinda skidded to a less time-sensitive direction. Basically people easing up on the deadlines because they're busy with whatever. It's cool and understandable, but I think people are just getting stressed out.
(Hopefully I can say this) But all people need to do is take a moment and go rub one out or flip their bean and relax. Seriously, you guys are at your computer, the internet is at your fingertips. No offense to the artists, as most of you guys are really good, but this should not be at the top of your list of things to worry about.

I didn't find your prices high, for your art style, they were pretty fair prices.
I'll miss out on not getting my commission. Aw well.
@carbajac, the increase of activity is more of the amount of artists, and the activity as a whole seemed to me to boost around the end of Summer (i.e., in August).
